Double Breasted Waistcoat in Camel
This double-breasted waistcoat is made of a Melton cloth, which is traditionally made of wool and is woven in a twill form. It is thick, due to having been well fulled, which gives it a felt-like smooth surface. With no lapels, on its front it has two symmetrical columns of buttons; by contrast, a single-breasted item has a narrow overlap and only one column of buttons. In most modern double-breasted waistcoats one column of buttons is decorative, while the other is functional. This style waistcoat has a low, sweeping line that creates a clean V behind the jacket front finishing at the bottom with a double points.
